Question 50: Shapes 5

What perfect shape can you logically make with two identical triangles with no even sides? (when combined)

(A). A diamond with all even sides

(B). A circle

(C). A square

(D). A rectangle

Scroll down for the answer

The answer:

"D"

Because:

Perfect diamonds will have all equal sides. If all sides are equal not when the triangles are combined, you can't form a "perfect" diamond. No matter how hard you try you can make a circle out of two triangles. Two triangles can make a square, but only when two of the sides of the triangles are equal. Rectangles, however, can be formed with two triangles with no even sides. The answer is "D" rectangle.
